Credo
The Credo Quattuor Chenin Blanc 2010 brought honour to Stellenbosch Vineyards when it was awarded a Double Gold medal at the Veritas Wine Awards, held in Cape Town on 5 October.
Following Stellenbosch Vineyards’ successful launch of the Credo label in April this year, this wine impressed judges locally and internationally. It was awarded as one of the Top 100 SA wines, followed by a bronze medal at the 2013 Decanter World Wine Awards and a silver medal at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show. It also received a Bronze medal at both the Decanter Asia Awards 2013 and the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2013.

Bottled in February this year, this wine was one of only four Chenin Blancs to be awarded a Double Gold at Veritas. Other awarded wines from the Stellenbosch Vineyards portfolio were the Credo Shiraz Merlot Viognier 2010, Welmoed Heyden’s Courage White 2011 and Welmoed Chardonnay 2013, all awarded Silver, and Bronze for the Credo Chardonnay 2010, Welmoed Sauvignon Blanc 2013 and Arniston Bay Chenin Blanc Chardonnay 2013.
