Samsung Electronics South Africa will bring leading innovations to this year’s annual Good Food & Wine Show taking place in Cape Town from 23rd to 26th May. The Chefs in Action theatre offers the perfect platform for Samsung to showcase kitchen solutions that offer the ideal combination of design, economy and functionality.
“The digital age has brought revolutionary change and Samsung has responded with advanced technologies, competitive products and constant innovation. Samsung’s Digital Appliance range of products brings innovation, with environmentally friendly benefits, to the contemporary household. This week, we will give food enthusiasts the opportunity to experience how our kitchen solutions are able to meet the changing needs of the consumer” says Michelle Potgieter, Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Samsung Electronics South Africa.

This premier food, wine and lifestyle experience will provide budding chefs the opportunity to experience how Samsung is taking the world in imaginative new directions, including demonstrating the recently introduced Dual Cook oven. The revolutionary Dual Cook technology enables the user to cook two dishes at once, in the same oven, at different temperatures. Standard with a self-clean function, it makes cooking and baking so much more enjoyable and life a little bit easier!

“People are passionate about cooking and want to share their recipes with the world. Our range of televisions, tablets and notebooks at the Show will be used to demonstrate just how easy it is to set up a food blog and how to use technology to get the most out of your cooking experience, such as downloading recipes onto your tablet or compile your own digital cookbook,” says Potgieter.

Of course, no Good Food & Wine Show will be complete without seeing some of the top names in the culinary world providing tips to those aspiring chefs. Samsung will be sharing the stage with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Eric Lanlard together with the South Africa Bar exhibit, which will showcase the country’s finest spirits, liqueurs, beer, craft beer, Champagne and sparkling wines - adding further variety and flair.

“We are looking forward to the Good Food & Wine Show and demonstrating our commitment to making the lives of our customers smarter, simpler and more connected. Whether they are connecting to the digital world or to their inner chef by enabling innovation in the kitchen to make cooking that much easier,” concludes Potgieter.
