It promises to be a wine-divine affair filled with fun, food, fabulousness, a few celebrity appearances and a wide array of fantastic South African wines to taste and savour. Festival co-founders and local entrepreneurs, Mzoli Ngcawuzele and Lungile Mbalo from Mzoli’s Place, are promising visitors an impressive wine festival whist also celebrating Africa Day, which falls on Saturday 25th May, providing all with an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of the peoples of Africa and to reaffirm efforts to build a better future for all. The TOPS Gugulethu Wine Festival objective is to create wine awareness and wine education amongst the broader consumer markets in the Western Cape whilst also expanding the wine consumer base for wineries, and for these wineries to meet and greet their present and future consumers.
