Constantia Glen
Constantia Glen, the magnificently appointed boutique wine estate on the upper reaches of the Constantiaberg, will provide a refreshing taste of its signature cool climate wines during the fourth annual Constantia Fresh Festival on Friday, 1 March at Cellars Hohenort and Saturday, 2 March, on the lush Buitenverwachting lawns.
The elegant flagship, Constantia Glen Five 2008, will be served along with its Constantia counterparts from other leading estates at the fine wine dinner on Friday, 1 March at The Greenhouse Restaurant at Cellars Hohenort.

Wine lovers can taste the newly launched 2012 Constantia Glen Sauvignon Blanc from 15h00 on the Saturday, where visitors will be treated to mouth-watering canapés, prepared by some of South Africa’s top chefs and paired perfectly with the wines available for tasting on the day. Be sure to extend your visit to Constantia Fresh with an early evening gourmet braai, starting at 18h00, where the Constantia Glen Three 2009 will be served.

Tickets for Constantia Fresh are available at all participating wineries or from www.webtickets.co.za. The dinner costs R1 500 per person, starting at 19h30, and the tasting on Saturday is R400 per person. For more information, visit www.constantiafresh.com.

Known above all for cool climate Sauvignon Blancs and Bordeaux-style reds, the Constantia Glen tasting room is open daily from 10h00 till 17h00 on week days and from 10h00 till 16h00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Look out for the Constantia Glen signs towards the top of Constantia Main road.
