Come and enjoy excellent wines, true Swartland hospitality, fabulous food and music in the estate’s new function and conference venue.
Allesverloren – situated on the foothills of the Kasteelberg between the quaint towns of Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West – will launch its first Vintage Port, the Allesverloren Vintage Reserve Port 1997 during the festival weekend. Passionate owner and winemaker Danie Malan, made this fortified wine according to the dry style that is typical of traditional vintage ports. Matured in oak barrels for two years, this tawny-coloured port delights with raisins, coffee and mocha aromas that follows through to a palate dripping with ripe berries and hints of vanilla and nuts.
Feast the senses at an opulent Opera Evening with the sounds of musical maestro’s Stanislav Anguelov, Violina Anguelov, Beverley Chiat and Nikola Cencherle teamed with a marvellous 3-course Mediterranean dinner on the Saturday (5 May). The evening starts at 20h00 and costs R125 per person for adults and R75 per person for children under twelve.
On the Sunday (6 May), treat your family and friends to a leisurely Boland Buffet lunch rich in traditional Boland specialities whilst savouring the seductive sounds of the renowned Hungarian Trio. Lunch starts at 12h30 and costs R125 per person for adults and R65 per person for children under twelve.

For the little ones there will be special hampers filled with all their favourites at R25 per person. Prepaid booking is essential for these picnic hampers.
On the Saturday the estate will also cater for those who are not so hungry with curry and rice lunch takeaways, coffee, tea and soft drinks. A selection of unique homemade produce will be available to take home including the sought-after Allesverloren Port & Prune or Allesverloren Shiraz & Prune preserve.
Lunch will certainly not be a dull affair with live entertainment from 12h00 – 14h00 on both days featuring Orland Firmani and Fred Laker with their mandolins accompanied by Konrad Laker on his guitar. Whilst you linger and relax send the young ones off to the inflatable obstacle course that will keep them enthralled for hours.
