Van Loveren
Van Loveren Light White (low alcohol wine) first wine of 2006.
Van Loveren, owned by the well-known Retief family in the Robertson Wine Valley, have produced the first bottled wine of 2006. And it’s a new release – the Van Loveren Light White 2006 weighs in with alcohol of only 9%. The wine was made from Semillon grapes, which were harvested on 11 January.
The wine comes in a green tinted bottle and the label and capsule are a fresh green colour. Although the grapes were picked before full ripeness the wine was not fermented dry and the residual sugar of 4,3g/l is in balance with the wine’s natural acidity. It’s a fresh wine and is meant for light easy drinking and should be served well chilled.
Van Loveren are renowned for the excellent value offered by their entire wine range. The Van Loveren Light White 2006 is no exception and will retail for approximately R20 incl VAT.
