Last year this great event attracted over 2 000 visitors and this number is expected to increase this year as 15 extra wineries, from the Helderberg Wine Route, will be showing their wines. And the Funtasia playland will have extra attractions this year, so children won’t be bored for a moment. They can enjoy Funtasia in a secure environment while the parents can taste wines from 23 wineries from the area. A fantastic array of foods will be on offer, including oysters and bubbly, smoked salmon, cheese, biltong, sushi and Italian, Mediterranean, Dutch and German foods, steak and boerewors rolls and a tuck shop for the children etc. A beer garden will be situated next to the German food stand. Live jazz will add to the atmosphere. Funtasia for the children includes a climbing wall, water slide, mechanical bull, gyroscope and much more. A special 'tiny tots' area will also be available. An extra R10 entitles you to take part in laser combat games. A disco for older children will take place from 18h00 - 20h00.
