Visit the Wine Routes at the Waterfront is again the theme at this relaxed and well-organised annual wine and cheese tasting Festival held in the vibrant atmosphere of the V&A Waterfront.

The Cape Times Waterfront Wine Festival – celebrating its 12th anniversary this year – represents the entire spectrum of Cape wine producers, from top-notch estates to superb boutique wineries and groundbreaking garagistes (literally, wines made in private garages).

Visitors are able to tour all the wine routes in one evening at a convenient and secure venue. This year, a total of 95 of the Cape's finest wine estates, producers and wineries will be presenting more than 350 wines for tasting.

Further enhancing this special wine experience is the Cheese Hall, housed next door at the V&A Forum, where guests can sample and buy boutique cheeses and deli products such as olives, olive oils, oysters, sushi and organic foods. A feature of the Festival is its intimate and friendly ambience.

After an enjoyable tasting, wine lovers can pop out of the marquee and have something to eat at one of the many wonderful Waterfront restaurants conveniently located in easy strolling distance.
