Technological advancement is a driving force in the wine industry. Porterville Cellars, located just 140km north of Cape Town, have recently completed a cellar upgrade consisting of numerous red and white fermentation tanks, a cross–flow filtration unit and a cold stabilization unit.
ABSA Asset Finance provided the project finance for the above development. After delivery, the equipment was successfully taken into service by the supplier, Grotto Defrancheski SA Pty Ltd. The project value is R3.306.000 (Vat inclusive).
