The wine is a blend from several estates in the area; made by Wellington winemakers working together, and a 10% share of the company producing this wine has been donated to the Wellington Wine Producers Educational Trust.Juliet Cullinan, well known Johannesburg-based wine personality and expert, writes of it: This wine is a careful selection of the finest wines from the Wellington valley. It has a brilliant rich mulberry hue, with wonderful clarity. There are cherry and raspberry aromas on the nose, with hints of nutmeg, thatch, mocca and violets. There is an elegant creamy flavour with layers of intensity. The palate displays an overtone of spice, with cherry flavours, soft tannins and a complex, lingering finish that intensifies on the palate.
