Where the Year Comes Together
Late spring is a busy time in the Stellenbosch Kloof. The vines are pushing out new green shoots, the fynbos on the slopes is flowering, and the afternoons are long enough to stay outside after lunch. It is also when we start getting the same question from guests: “Where should we celebrate this year?”
For a lot of teams, families and groups of friends, the end of the year is the one time everyone is in the same place. There’s a year of work behind them and a summer ahead. Being at a working wine estate for that moment makes sense to us. You can sit on a lawn looking down the valley, eat a long lunch among barrels of maturing Merlot, or have an evening glass while the light fades over the Kloof. Your guests get to slow down and spend time with the people they’ve worked alongside all year.
This season we’re inviting you to bring your year-end celebration to Jordan, and to meet the new chef at The Cellar Door.
Celebrate the Season at Jordan
End-of-year function bookings are now open. We have spaces for intimate team lunches, relaxed afternoons outdoors and private evening functions. Our Events team will help you plan the day around your group.
Picnic on the Protea Lawn | Up to 50 guests
Spend an afternoon on our Protea Lawn looking out over the Stellenbosch Kloof Valley. Shared picnic baskets for two come with exclusive use of the lawn, blankets, cushions and umbrellas, a staffed drinks station, and garden games like boules, giant Jenga and cornhole. It’s ideal for a relaxed team day.

Harvest Table Lunch in the Merlot Room | Up to 20 guests
Gather around a generous harvest table of platters, savoury snacks and salads to share, set among our barrels of maturing Merlot in the wine cellar. It works for corporate lunches, birthdays and kitchen teas.
12:00 – 15:00 | R550 per person + venue fee
Private Evening Functions at The Cellar Door | Up to 24 guests
Have a glass or two of Jordan wine as the sun sets, followed by a casual three-course menu chosen in advance. It’s a good fit for end-of-year celebrations with colleagues and friends.
18:00 – 22:00 | R550 per person + venue fee.
Lunch or Dinner at The Jordan Restaurant with Marthinus Ferreira | Up to 60 guests
Treat your team to award-winning wines, panoramic views and a three-course menu from one of the Winelands’ top dining rooms. Our private room seats up to 20, and you can book the whole restaurant for larger groups.

A Fresh Taste at The Cellar Door
We’ve added a few new dishes to the menu at The Cellar Door, bringing fresh flavours and new favourites to our relaxed dining experience.
The things you love about The Cellar Door remain the same. We still serve a full day menu and are open 7 days a week, making it the perfect spot for breakfast, a leisurely lunch or a glass of wine with a view.

A Spring Escape at The Jordan Luxury Suites
Some places are hard to leave after one afternoon. The Jordan Luxury Suites sit near the winery and both of our restaurants, looking out over the vineyards and the Stellenbosch mountains. This season you can end your day here.

Whether you prefer two wheels or two feet, there is a route for you.

Every participant will receive a goodie bag featuring a bottle of Jordan wine and a pair of Versus socks – a little something to enjoy after putting in the kilometres.
Renosterveld is one of the most threatened vegetation types in the Cape Floral Region, and protecting it is close to our hearts here in the Stellenbosch Kloof. Lace up or saddle up next Sunday, enjoy the estate’s trails, and help support conservation in our valley.
