The Waterford Rose-Mary belongs naturally to these moments. Made for warm afternoons, long lunches and tables that invite you to stay a little longer. Fresh and expressive, with delicate fruit and bright acidity, it is a wine that feels at home in the easy pace of summer.
And perhaps that is why it feels so fitting to introduce its new look as spring returns to the estate. Lovingly named after our owner Jeremy Ord’s mother, Rose-Mary has always carried a sense of elegance.
With the arrival of the new vintage of Rose-Mary comes another kind of evolution. The wine we know and love steps into a new shape, bringing its appearance more closely in line with the Rose-Mary Magnum, while remaining true to the character that has always defined it.
A new shape, the same spirit
The new 750ml Rose-Mary bottle is not a departure from its history, but a refinement of it. Its curved form and flowing label bring a renewed sense of elegance to a wine that has always embodied the same qualities.
The bottle shape takes its cue from the elegant curves of the Magnum. Its softer, more graceful silhouette gives it a quiet presence, while the new label follows the curve of the glass, creating a more considered and harmonious expression.
It is the kind of bottle that finds its way into the middle of the table and stays there.
The 2026 Vintage

Staying true to the character of Rose-Mary, the 2026 has a delicate blush colour and an expressive blend of Mediterranean varietals. Crafted in the traditional Provence-style Blanc de Noir method, it opens with aromas of white peach and rose water, followed by flavours of fresh strawberry, apricot and white peach on the palate. A refreshing mineral character adds texture and depth, leading to a long, elegant finish.
The 2026 growing season, marked by warmer temperatures and well-timed rainfall, brought earlier ripening and a strong harvest. The result is a beautifully balanced wine that retains the freshness and subtle layers of complexity Rose-Mary is known for.
While the bottle has evolved, what is inside remains reassuringly familiar, whether enjoyed beneath the oaks at the estate or poured around a table with friends.
An evolution, not a departure
Spring at Waterford Estate is a season of renewal. The days grow longer, the landscape softens, and everything seems to return to its natural rhythm.
As we turn towards summer, we look forward to pouring it once again. Celebrating the refined expression of a wine that has a special place at our table.
Some things change with time. Some things simply become more refined.
