Wine lovers can win a wine tasting for two at Lanzerac by checking in at the estate on Vinora, a new free digital wine passport for South African wine farms.

Vinora, a new digital wine passport for South African wine farms, has launched the Vinora Heritage Hunt, a month-long Heritage Day campaign encouraging wine lovers to experience the Cape's wine heritage in person.

In partnership with Lanzerac in Stellenbosch, farmed since 1692 and home to the first commercially bottled Pinotage in 1961, one winner will receive a Heritage Wine Tasting for two at the estate.

How to enter

  1. Visit Lanzerac and check in on the free Vinora app (vinora.hyperianlabs.com) before 24 October 2026
  2. For a bonus entry, share the check-in to a public Instagram story tagging @lanzeracestate and @vinorapassport
  3. Earn further entries by inviting friends to join Vinora with your referral code

The winner will be drawn on or shortly after 25 October 2026. Entrants must be South African residents aged 18 or older. View the full list of rules online.

"South Africa's wine heritage isn't something to read about; it's something to go and experience," says Vinora founder Riaan Coetzee. "The Heritage Hunt is about getting people onto the farms that shaped our wine story, and we plan to make it an annual tradition."

About Vinora

Vinora is a digital wine passport that lets wine lovers discover South African wine farms, check in when they visit, build a collection of the places they've been and share their stories. Wineries can claim their Vinora profile for free to list events and connect with visitors; estates including Lanzerac, Spier and La Bri have already claimed theirs.
