Or course not everyone can make it to the magnificent front door of this renowned wine and tourism destination and, therefore, the estate is delighted to extend an invitation to its fans and followers in Gauteng as summer arrives during September, October and November.
As the proud and official wine partner of KAMERS/Makers,South Africa’s leading showcase of local creativity, guests are invited to join La Motte for the 2026 season that starts with the Soweto Small Business Showcase (Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 September), followed by the Pretoria Spring Show (Wednesday 30 September – Sunday 4 October) and the Sandton Summer Show (Tuesday 24 – Sunday 29 November.)

You can also taste a variety of the latest vintages and new releases from La Motte at the Standard Bank WineX, hosted in the Sandton Convention Centre from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 October. The estate invites guest to an exceptional wine and art experience for the three nights when the best of the Cape Winelands will be in Johannesburg for the “biggest and most vibrant wine event in the Southern Hemisphere”.
