Perdeberg Wines has delivered one of its strongest results yet at the Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Awards 2026, taking home 2 Platinum awards, 13 Double Gold awards, 11 Gold awards and 2 Silver awards.

One of the two Platinum awards, six of the thirteen Double Gold awards and one of the eleven Gold awards were also recognised with Museum Class status, a distinction reserved for wines that have proven their ageing potential over time.

Two platinum awards

Perdeberg's top honour of the competition went to two very different wines, each showcasing a distinct side of the cellar's craft.

The Endura Winemaker's Selection Cape Blend 2024 represents the pinnacle of Perdeberg's blending expertise, while The Dry Land Collection Rossouw's Heritage 2022 earned the additional distinction of Museum Class, confirming its exceptional ageing potential four years on from harvest.

13 Double gold awards

Double Gold results were spread across four ranges, led by The Dry Land Collection.

Endura (1 Double Gold award)

  • Single Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2025

The Dry Land Collection (9 Double Gold awards)

Notably, the Fortitude Fortified Chenin Blanc claimed Double Gold across four consecutive releases, NV, 2021, 2022 and 2023, all earning Museum Class status, a rare display of consistency for a fortified wine.

The Vineyard Collection (2 Double Gold awards)

  • Grenache Blanc 2025
  • Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Perdeberg Cellar (1 Double Gold award)

  • Shiraz 2025

11 Gold awards

Gold honours were led jointly by The Vineyard Collection and The Dry Land Collection, with four awards a piece.

Endura, Perdeberg Cellar and G.O.A.T. (1 Gold award each)

The Dry Land Collection (4 Gold awards)

  • Longevity Natural Sweet Chenin Blanc 2025
  • Courageous Barrel-Fermented Chenin Blanc 2025
  • Resolve Pinotage 2024
  • Joseph's Legacy 2024

The Vineyard Collection (4 Gold awards)

  • Malbec 2025
  • Grenache Noir 2024
  • Cap Classique Pinot Noir Rosé 2022
  • Chenin Blanc 2025

Together with 2 Silver awards, the results confirm the strength and consistency of every range in the Perdeberg portfolio.

This is one of the strongest results Perdeberg achieved in a single competition. Seeing wines from every range recognised, from their flagship blend to the Fortitude Fortified Chenin Blanc across four vintages, reflects the consistency and quality they work so hard to build into every bottle. Two Platinum awards, thirteen Double Gold and eleven gold medals across their full portfolio is an incredible endorsement of Perdeberg as a producer. It reaffirms their position as The Home of Chenin Blanc™, while showing the depth of quality across their reds, whites and fortified wines too.

Perdeberg continues to build on its legacy of excellence across every range, adding to a growing list of international accolades for the brand.
