DaschBosch's Mossiesdrift Steen 2025 has been named one of the winners of the 2026 Standard Bank Chenin Blanc Top 10 Challenge, placing it among the finest Chenin Blancs in South Africa.
The wine is a member of the Old Vine Project and comes from a single Chenin Blanc vineyard planted in 1962. These remarkable old vines contribute depth, complexity and a distinctive sense of place, allowing the wine to express the unique character of both the vineyard and its Breedekloof origins.
Winemaker Willem Visagie has carefully made the Mossiesdrift Steen 2025 to showcase the natural fruit, freshness and structure of these historic vines. The result is a wine that honours more than sixty years of heritage while reflecting a modern, considered approach in the cellar.
Being named among the Standard Bank Top 10 Chenin Blancs is a proud achievement for DaschBosch, the winemaking team and the Breedekloof region.
