Our Sijnn Long Tables are back and for our September Long Table, we are doing things a little differently!
Join us in Malgas for our September Long Table on Saturday, 26 September exploring the Mediterranean varieties that thrive in our stony soils.
We’ll start the off with a walk through the vineyards, looking at the varieties growing in our unique stony soils and seeing what’s happening in the vineyard as we head into the new season.
From there, we’ll head into the cellar to taste each of our white varieties individually, directly from barrel. For the reds, we’ll go back to 2013, opening our varietal pack of Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon. We’ll taste each variety individually before tasting the 2013 Sijnn Red, a blend made from these varieties, to see how each component comes together in the finished wine and how they have developed over more than a decade.
After the tasting, we’ll enjoy a light lunch, accompanied by a glass of Sijnn wine of your choice. We’ll finish with a small dessert and coffee, with the afternoon wrapping up by 17h00.
It’s a chance to experience our wines in a way that simply can’t be recreated elsewhere – among the vines, in the cellar and straight from the barrels at Sijnn in Malgas.
