Vetkoek and wine pairing

Join us for a South African pairing of warm, freshly made vetkoek and Perdeberg wines.
Expect a selection of fillings including classic mince, curry mince, pulled pork, creamy chicken and mushroom, followed by a sweet dessert version to finish. Each is paired with a Perdeberg wine.

Wine blending
If you've ever wanted to see what goes into building a red blend, our Wine Blending Experience is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend time at Perdeberg.
We'll set you up with the wines, the blending tools, and enough space to taste your way through it properly. From there, it's over to you to mix, adjust, name your wine and create your own label before taking the bottle home.

23 September: At The Winemaker's Table at Back's Val de Vie
Perdeberg is joining the fourth and final edition of the Paarl Wine Route's At The Winemaker's Table on Wednesday, 23rd September at Back's Restaurant at Val de Vie.
Our viticulturist Johann Smit will be joined by Fanie from Landskroon and Alex from McFarlane Wines, with each winemaker sharing a selection of wines alongside a 4-course menu created especially for the evening by Back's.

25 September: Heritage Day Date Night at STEEN
Date Night is back for a special Heritage Day edition! We'll be ready from 18h00. The wine will be close by, and dinner is sorted for the evening! These nights fill up quickly, so book your table and come enjoy a night out at Perdeberg.
On the menu:
- Traditional roosterkoek with homemade Chenin Blanc preserve and local cheese
- Paarl beef steak, 250g sirloin, served with mushroom sauce, rustic cut fries and onion rings
- Ouma's pannekoek, vanilla ice cream, cinnamon and local golden syrup infused with our famous Chenin Blanc

2 October: Our first Winemaker's Dinner for 2026
The tables are being set, the candles are coming out, and our Winemaker's Dinner is finally on the calendar. On 2nd October, we are hosting our first Winemaker's Dinner of the year, and we would love for you to be at the table.

31 October: Perdeberg Family Festival
It's that time of the year! Get ready for Perdeberg's annual Family Festival. This year, we are bringing you fresh new live entertainment, more unique vendors, a VIP lounge and loads more fun activities for the Kids. And of course, this will be paired with tastings of our award-winning wines and delicious meals from our STEEN restaurant.
