The Westcliff’s fine dining restaurant, La Belle Terrasse, garnered a series of awards when it was recently voted as one of the country’s Top 100 restaurants at the celebrated launch of Wine Magazine’s ‘Top 100 restaurants in South Africa’ Guide.Sporting a wine list that includes wines from some of the finest vintners in the country, La Belle Terrasse also harvested a 5-star rating for its wine selection – an accolade which Wine Magazine bestowed upon only two Gauteng restaurants in the guide.German import, and Executive Chef for La Belle Terrasse, Sven Niederbremer, received a culinary stamp of approval from gastronomes alike on being voted by Wine Magazine as the ‘Top Newcomer in SA’.
