Dirty Little Secret Six
Some secrets are worth keeping for a decade, until now. Introducing Ken Forrester Vineyards' Dirty Little Secret Six – a limited-release Chenin Blanc over ten years in the making.
Made from grapes sourced from a very old dryland vineyard in the Piekenierskloof region planted in 1959. The main objective was to let this interesting fruit source speak for itself and show its typicity and specific character, ancient bush vines with a great view!
The result?
A tribute to the age and concentration of the vines, the low yield and the non-intrusive way of creating this wine. This wine has been handled as gently as possible. It is unfiltered, unfined – crafted to age and gain complexity in the bottle.
Ken Forrester Dirty Little Secret Six is a solera blend of the 2016-2026 vintages, revealing extraordinary depth and complexity. Layers of honey, wax, white flower and baked pear create a wine of remarkable elegance and an almost ethereal nature
