We are honoured to share that Paul Clüver Family Wines' Clüver Prieur Colline du Matin Chardonnay 2024 has been named the joint winner of White Wine of the Year at the National Wine Challenge 2026, while also earning Grand Cru National Champion, Top 100, and Double Platinum recognition.
Born from a collaboration between the Clüver family and renowned Burgundian winemaker Martin Prieur, Clüver Prieur Colline du Matin Chardonnay represents the finest expression of our cool-climate Elgin vineyards. The 2024 vintage reflects precision farming, meticulous pruning, and a shared commitment to producing Chardonnay of international calibre.
"This recognition celebrates not only a wine, but the extraordinary vineyards, people, and philosophy behind it. We believe great wines begin in the vineyard, and this award is a tribute to everyone who contributes to that journey," says cellarmaster Andries Burger.
Six Double Platinum wines among South Africa's best

- Paul Clüver Seven Flags Pinot Noir 2025
- Paul Clüver Estate Chardonnay 2024
