From protecting natural vegetation corridors to maintaining habitats for local wildlife, every small effort contributes to preserving the unique biodiversity of the Stellenbosch region.
This ongoing commitment is one of the reasons Zevenwacht Wine Estate is proud to be recognised as a WWF Conservation Champion. The partnership reflects our dedication to sustainable farming practices and responsible stewardship of the environment for future generations.
Our connection to the land is perhaps most visible in the 7even’s range. The labels were created to celebrate the rare and endangered Renosterveld species found within the Cape Floral Kingdom, to highlight our participation in the Bottelray Hills Renosterveld Conservancy. Each bottle tells the story of the delicate ecosystems that coexist with our vineyards, a reminder that conservation and winemaking can go hand in hand.
From the endangered Aristea Lugens flower to the quietly watchful Ribbok, these natural elements are more than design inspiration. They are symbols of what makes this landscape so special and worth protecting.
