Rijk's Wine Estate
Rijk's Wine Estate shares the release of the new Estate Chenin Blanc 2025.

We at Rijk's Wine Estate are very excited to share the release of the new Estate Chenin Blanc 2025.

Rijk's is stepping into a new chapter, one we look forward to sharing with you soon. Evolving from our previous Private Cellar range, this wine is grown in our vineyards, harvested by our team, made in our cellar, and bottled here on the estate. A complete expression of place and vintage.

The 2025 vintage is balanced and expressive, showing ripe stone fruit and citrus, with a creamy texture and a fresh mineral finish. It reflects both the character of the season and the site it comes from, with a style that remains focused and restrained.

Made with a gentle approach in the cellar, the aim is to preserve what the vineyard gives us, allowing the wine to speak for itself.

As we move into the new season, we've planted our winter cover crops between the vineyard rows. This year we have planted lupins and faba beans.

These crops play an important role in the long-term health of the vineyard.

As they grow, they naturally fix nitrogen in the soil, improving fertility without the need for additional inputs.

They also help to improve soil structure, allowing for better root development, and increase water retention through the warmer months.

Over time, this supports healthier, more balanced vines and contributes to the overall resilience of the vineyard.

From the wines we release to the work happening in the vineyard, everything is connected.

Thank you for being part of the journey. We look forward to sharing what lies ahead.
