The Du Bois Sonop Chenin Blanc 2024 is beautiful, made from top-quality fruit.

Honouring its heritage as the first wine farm in South Africa to plant Zinfandel, Blaauwklippen has introduced a 100% Zinfandel rosé: The Blaauwklippen House of Zin Rosé 2025. On Wednesday, 19 November 2025 – Zinfandel Day – the estate hosted an intimate media launch for the new wine.
Quoin Rock Rosé Launch Aboard the Mirage Catamaran - Jeanine and Suheena
Quoin Rock Rosé is the latest addition to the estate's range of premium wines, and it was introduced in style. We had the absolute honour of being invited to attend Quoin Rock's media launch aboard the Mirage Catamaran at the end of November. It was a spectacular evening on the Atlantic where the team introduced their new rosé to a group of special guests and friends. Every detail was thoughtfully curated – from the pink-and-white dress code to a Quartz-designed menu.
Opening of FYN's Arum Restaurant at Boschendal - Judy
It is not every day one gets an invite to an opening of a Peter Tempelhoff restaurant, so I was very excited to attend the opening of Arum at Boschendal Estate last week. Upon arrival, a chilled glass of Boschendal Cap Classique was very welcome, presented by none other than group sommelier and service director Jennifer Hugé. Executive chef Travis Finch is in charge of Arum, and we were treated to a delicious lunch, which included stracciatella with fire-roasted beetroot.
Soft Launch of Masons Winery at Masons Square, Paarl - Anri and Jeanine
Masons Winery is a boutique South African producer built on family heritage, craftsmanship and modern elegance. Each limited-release wine is handcrafted to reflect terroir, texture and time. I went to the exclusive soft relaunch of Masons Winery on Wednesday, 10 December 2026 at Masons Square in the JA Clift Granite Factory in Paarl. It was a lovely, personal evening celebrating the Clift family's 25-year journey in winemaking.
Grand Opening of Blaauwklippen Manor - Judy and Suheena
Less than two years after Blaauwklippen suffered a devastating fire, it has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. We were fortunate to join the festivities marking the relaunch of the Manor House, Jonkershuis and new modern Pool House. The attention to detail in the gardens, decor, and design is very evident. It is all masterfully done.
