The company will operate under a new group name: Gabb Family Wines.
The move reflects the continued growth and diversification of the business, as its portfolio of distinct wine brands – including UK favourites Journey’s End, Honey Drop, Mount Rozier and Reign of Terroir – continues to scale across international markets.
The Journey’s End brand remains at the heart of the business. The Stellenbosch estate, its vineyards, winemaking team, and long-standing commitment to quality and sustainability are unchanged. As the first South African winery to achieve B Corp certification, Journey’s End will continue to exist as the flagship family-owned estate, with its wines remaining central to the group’s identity and future. The introduction of Gabb Family Wines provides a clear overarching structure, enabling the business to support multiple brands, each with its own positioning, personality and route to market, while benefiting from shared expertise, infrastructure and long-term family ownership.

This change mirrors a portfolio-led model increasingly adopted by leading international wine businesses, enabling greater focus on brand-building, innovation and market-specific strategies without compromising estate integrity.
Under Gabb Family Wines, the group will continue to invest in sustainable viticulture, progressive winemaking and long-term partnerships across its export markets, with sustainability remaining a core part of the business’s DNA.
