Our new creamery is open and serving up delicious scoops of homemade goodness (including festive flavours), we are sipping on Cap Classique in our tasting room and enjoying fresh dishes from our restaurants.

Our Summer Gardens are Blooming
Our summer gardens are in full splendour! Guests are welcomed by a breathtaking display of blue, purple, and white hydrangeas, complemented by graceful roses and an array of vibrant blooms in the Octagonal Garden. When visiting the farm, take a moment to wander through our themed gardens and immerse yourself in the captivating sights and delicate fragrances that make this season so enchanting.
Visit the Potting Shed Gift Shop for a selection of bespoke Vergelegen-inspired scented hand washes, lotions, creams and candles as well as a selection of plants and gardening accessories. Find our gift shop in the rose garden precinct next to Rose Terrace Tea Room.

New Release: Vergelegen MMV 2024 Cap Classique
Our new vintage of MMV Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique 2024 has been released just in time for Christmas and is available in our tasting room and online shop.
This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay from our estate and has hints of brioche, citrus, spice and baked apples. We believe it pairs perfectly with roasted turkey or gammon and all the delicious festive dishes one can expect during the Christmas celebrations. Stock is limited so don't delay!

Our New Pizza Takalani Opens for the Holidays in the Play Area
In the holidays, we are serving up child-friendly meals from our new pizza takalani based in the kids play area. We will be serving piping hot pizzas, toasted sandwiches, soft serve ice cream and a selection of drinks to keep those little tummies full all afternoon. Parents can relax on the lawn with a glass of wine or a coffee and watch their children explore the upgraded play facilities which include new swings, a second tractor and shaded pergola over the water spring.
Festive Opening Times
Vergelegen Estate: Gates open at 08h30, last entry at 16h00.
Rose Terrace Tea Room: Monday to Sunday from 08h30 - 16h30. No bookings.
Stables Restaurant: Monday to Sunday from 08h30 - 17h00. Dinner served on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 18h00.
Children's Play Area Takalani: Monday to Sunday from 10h00 - 16h00.
Camphor Forest Picnics: Monday to Sunday from 12h15 - 15h00.
Wine Tasting Room: Monday to Sunday from 10h00 - 16h00 (wine sales open from 08h30 - 17h00). Our popular Fauna & Flora and Cellar tours are operating daily and can be viewed on our website.
Vergelegen will be closed on Christmas Day, 25 December and will reopen on 26 December.
