Let our culinary team take the stress out of Christmas dinner and treat you to a festive feast. Our Christmas Day at MIKO is a celebration of festive classics with a difference. Think a family-style harvest table followed by sharing platters and festive desserts.
Plus, enjoy live music from Lionel Beukes, a South African jazz musician and composer who grew up in District Six, Cape Town. He started playing professionally in 1970 and performed and recorded albums with the renowned South African pianist, Abdullah Ebrahim (Dollar Brand).
Lional plays the double bass, the electric bass and is a vocalist. His repertoire includes jazz standards such as music by Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra.

Join us for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve dinner celebration filled with music, flavour, and festive cheer. The night begins with canapés and sparkling bubbly, setting the tone for an enchanting hour-long performance by Carol Thorns.
Carol is South Africa’s leading electric cellist, renowned for worldwide performances, including opening for Vanessa Mae and sharing a stage with John Legend. Her solo album Fireflies in the Rain was nominated for a South African Music Award for Best Instrumental Album, and her solo show Red Cello Electrified received high praise at the world’s largest arts festival, The Edinburgh Fringe.
From 21h00, Newton will set the celebratory tone as we count down to midnight, blending soulful vocals, guitar, and violin with a mix of covers and originals – the perfect festive soundtrack to welcome 2026 in style.
