Guided personally by managing director Catherine Schulze, this Cape Dutch landmark has been thoughtfully renewed to honour its 1682 heritage while creating a warm, sensory-rich experience for today's guests.
Every detail tells a story – from restored beams and antique details to hand-curated artworks and textures of linen, mahogany, and mohair. A space that feels both historic and renewed, it's a tribute to Catharina Ras and the enduring spirit of home that defines Steenberg.
