In this milestone year marking 100 years of Pinotage, Beyerskloof is proud to celebrate not one, but two prestigious Absa Pinotage awards, reaffirming our legacy as champions of South Africa’s homegrown grape.

At the 2025 Absa Top 10 Pinotage Awards, our flagship Diesel Pinotage 2021 earned a coveted place among the Top 10 winners, standing shoulder to shoulder with South Africa’s finest expressions of Pinotage.

Adding to this moment of pride, the Beyerskloof Pinotage Rosé 2025 received the 2025 Absa Pinotage Rosé Award, highlighting the versatility of the cultivar in its most refreshing and elegant form.

2025 Veritas Awards
The 2025 Veritas Awards once again affirmed Beyerskloof’s place among South Africa’s top Pinotage producers, with five medals across our premium range, including two Double Gold and three Gold medals.
Leading the way, the Diesel Pinotage 2021 earned a Double Gold medal and 93 points, while the newly released Diesel Pinotage 2023 impressed with a Gold medal and 90 points. Together, they showcase the remarkable consistency and excellence of this flagship wine.
Our iconic Faith 2022 Cape Blend also shone brightly, awarded Double Gold and 94 points, a true reflection of elegance and balance that embodies Beyers Truter’s vision and lifelong dedication to Pinotage.
Adding to this celebration, both Winemakers Reserve Pinotage 2022 (Gold, 92 pts) and 2023 (Gold, 90 pts) were recognised for their depth, complexity, and craftsmanship.
These honours from Veritas, one of South Africa’s most respected wine competitions, are a proud testament to the dedication of our winemaking team and their unwavering pursuit of quality, vintage after vintage.
