2025 marks 100 years of Pinotage, and on Saturday, 11 October, we celebrated South Africa’s very own grape variety. Born from innovation and nurtured by generations of winemakers, Pinotage has grown into a symbol of who we are: bold, creative, tenacious and unmistakably South African.
In this milestone year, Bruce has been named among the Top 100 Winemakers in the World by The Drinks Business – for the second time in three years! It’s an extraordinary honour that celebrates not just Bruce’s vision, but the hard work and passion of the entire Bruce Jack team.
Even more exciting, is the fact that our Bruce Jack Flag of Truce Pinotage 2022 was crowned Best Pinotage at The Drinks Business' Global Masters. It didn’t just beat other Pinotages… it was the highest-scoring red wine overall at the Autumn Tasting, standing tall among hundreds of entries from around the world. Last week, it received another prestigious accolade, announced as one of the ABSA Top 10 Pinotages for 2025.

Wine of the week: Bruce Jack Heritage Boer Maak 'n Plan Chenin Blanc
We are thrilled that our Bruce Jack Heritage Chenin Blanc recently received a gold medal at the Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Awards 2025. The wine offers distinctive notes of yellow apple, green melon, and lime on the nose. The palate is beautifully structured, brimming with fresh yellow and white fruit flavors, and finishes with a subtle yet memorable touch.
