This month feels pivotal. As the United Nations moves to define global alcohol policy for the next decade, our sector is again reminded how quickly the context in which we operate can shift.
On the 25th September 2025, the United Nations General Assembly convened its Fourth High-level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and the Promotion of Mental Health. This summit set the regulatory direction for global alcohol policy for the next seven years, with far-reaching consequences for the wine industry.
You are invited to join a timely debrief from ARENI GLOBAL on the UN’s political declaration and what it means for producers, merchants, and educators.
They will unpack the UN summit’s conclusions, analyse what they mean for wine producers, merchants, educators, and communicators, and explore how the sector can adapt to a health-first policy landscape.
