Blaauwklippen, South Africa’s first wine farm founded in 1682 and holder of the country’s very first Title Deed, has once again been recognised on the international stage. At the prestigious Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards, the estate achieved outstanding success with a Double Gold for its Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, and Gold for both the Chardonnay 2023 and Malbec 2022.

“These awards are a reflection of the passion, dedication, and teamwork that go into every harvest. Each bottle is not only an expression of our terroir, but also of the people who craft it. Excellence captured in a moment, to be enjoyed for generations.” Says Narina Cloete, winemaker.

These accolades honour not only the craftsmanship of Blaauwklippen’s winemaking team but also the enduring legacy of an estate that has been capturing time in a bottle for more than three centuries. Blaauwklippen remains a symbol of heritage and refinement: Then. Now. Forever.
