Meet the team: Rupert Kieser
Rupert has joined our team in the last few months as a sales consultant and manager of the Jack in the Box Wine Club, with a keen focus on The Drift Estate wines.
He fell into wine out of passion and sharpened his knowledge and skills working in various tasting rooms throughout the Cape Winelands, from Constantia to Stellenbosch. He has been privileged to taste wine from around the world through his travels and from his father's vast wine collection. His first formal wine education was casually dropping into a WSET level 3 and achieving Merit in the process. He has a keen eye for innovative wine, pairing and hospitality.
He also has a deep passion and understanding of conservation, providing unique safari experiences while bringing his experience with wine and hospitality to make these truly special.

Wine of the week: Bruce Jack Reserve Viognier
We are thrilled that our Bruce Jack Reserve Viognier recently received a gold medal (95 Points) at the Fine Wine Awards 2025. The wine offers aromas of peach blossom, ripe stone-fruit and citrus flavours with a touch of vanilla from judicious barrel fermentation.
