Nestled against the Simonsberg Mountain, Knorhoek Wine Farm boasts a rich history dating back to 2 September 1694, making it one of Stellenbosch’s oldest farms. To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting a family-friendly Buffet Braai experience.
Event highlights
- Traditional South African braai: Enjoy a mouth-watering selection of grilled meats, boerewors, and vegetarian sides, all prepared to perfection.
- Social table: Seating for the day is set up as one long table so you can get to know your fellow braai and wine lovers, separate family tables can be arranged.
- Heritage wines: Enjoy a welcome wine and access to our finest wines made from our Heritage Vineyards.
- Live music: Groove to the tunes of a local musician, adding a festive vibe to the day.
- Kid friendly: Fun and engaging spaces for the little ones.
- Vintage vertical: For the first time ever, you can participate in a masterclass with our winemaker for a tasting of three different vintages of the Chenin Blanc and three of the Cabernet Sauvignon to understand our revered history. Select the combo ticket of Masterclass + Buffet Braai option to secure your seat. The Knorhoek wine masterclass will be an hour long, starting promptly at 11h00.
