Stellenzicht
Stellenzicht raises a toast to Shiraz and the women behind the wine.

Shiraz has long been part of Stellenzicht Vineyards' story, rooted in our soils and guided by winemaker L'Ré Hughes.

On 21 August, we raise a glass to its legacy and the people shaping its future.

To celebrate Shiraz, buy any 5 bottles of Shiraz-based wine and receive the 6th one on us.

L'Re's approach is grounded in instinct, reverence for nature, and a firm belief that great wines begin in the soil. Shiraz holds a special place in her journey, from early harvest memories in Stellenbosch to award-winning recognition at the Trophy Wine Show.

The 2023 vintage is one of those that leaves a lasting impression.

This Shiraz and Women's Month, we celebrate the perseverance, the spirit of community, and the untold stories captured in every bottle.

Offer valid until 24 August 2025.

Experience Shiraz

Thunderstone Rosé

The Rosé is a lively blend of Syrah, Cinsault, and Grenache, carefully pressed and allowed to settle before fermenting in tanks. Two months in old barrels enhance its floral aromatics, juicy fruit, and fresh, delicate finish, inviting moments of simple pleasure.

Thunderstone Red

At first light, the Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cinsault are hand-harvested. Whole bunch fermentations, gentle pump-overs, and time on the skins bring their character to life. After eighteen months in French oak, the wine reveals vibrant red berries, spice, and a graceful, lingering finish.

Arenite Syrah

Arenite Syrah opens with rich red and dark fruits, lifted by subtle hints of allspice. Whole bunch fermentations and careful pump-overs build savoury depth, while fifteen months in French oak shape a plush, lingering finish.

Acheulean Red

Acheulean Red reveals its elegance from hand-picked Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cinsault, carefully fermented with patience and precision. Eighteen months in French oak weave together sumptuous red and black fruits, silky tannins, layered oak, and savoury nuances, creating a complex wine destined to age gracefully for over ten years.
