Shared purpose, individual paths
At the House of Graham Beck, we believe that excellence takes many forms – and during Women’s Month, we honour the many women across our House who help shape it every day.
From cellar to vineyard, logistics to leadership, each woman brings her own story, her own ambition, and her own voice. In this spirit, we’re proud to spotlight three of the many who make our pursuit of the perfect bubble possible.
Meet Lizemari Geldenhuys
Favourite Cap Classique: Graham Beck Cuvée Clive
Lizemari joined our winemaking team in January 2025. With impressive experience from Kleine Zalze and international vintages in California and Australia, Lizemari brings a global perspective to our pursuit of the perfect bubble. “Cap Classique has grown into a bit of an obsession for me,” she shares. “I love that each bottle undergoes an individual journey of secondary fermentation, allowing for creativity and precision.”
Meet Christina Filander
Favourite Cap Classique: Graham Beck Bliss Nectar
Christina has called our production team home for over 11 years. Recently also appointed as an emergency response assistant (a personal dream of hers), Christina’s story reflects our culture of growth. “Graham Beck really believes in upskilling their staff,” she says.
Meet Amanda Tsikolo
Favourite Cap Classique: Graham Beck Brut Rosé
Amanda brings 13 years of vineyard expertise and an infectious passion for the land. “Farming is in my blood,” she explains. With dreams of crafting her own world-class Cap Classique, Amanda represents the entrepreneurial spirit we champion.

Inspired by Rhona's vision
Rhona Beck was more than our founder Graham’s wife – she was a giver, environmental steward and champion of upliftment.
It was her generous spirit that catalysed the founding of the Graham and Rhona Beck Development Trust in 2007.
Today, the Trust invests in the Robertson community through skills training, bursaries, women’s empowerment programmes and recreational services. This year, Rhona’s legacy extended to Johannesburg through our support of goGOGOgo, a foundation empowering grandmothers to become changemakers in their communities. By funding basic computer literacy training for Gogos, we’re helping bridge the digital divide and giving these remarkable women the tools to connect, learn and lead.
Whether through training at the Skills Centre, funding schooling and tertiary study, or supporting women’s initiatives, Rhona’s legacy lives on in every life touched by this work.
