Much like our Dry Land Collection, these stage races embody the essence of endurance, resilience, and a deep respect for nature. From the 2025 Glacier Storms River Traverse onward, Perdeberg Wines will proudly take its place on the evening podiums of Dryland’s iconic races.
Established in 1941 to support Agter-Paarl grape growers, Perdeberg has always led with innovation – introducing cold fermentation, investing in viticultural excellence, and championing quality over convention. In 2013, we launched our Dry Land Collection, produced exclusively from unirrigated vineyards. The first vintage made a bold entrance by earning the Michelangelo Awards' Best Producer title in 2014. Today, we remain proud to be recognised as the Home of Chenin Blanc, most recently celebrated with five gold medals at the Global Chenin Blanc Masters.
The philosophy behind our Dry Land range is simple: Mother Nature knows best. We embrace a low-intervention approach, allowing our vines to thrive in tough, dry conditions – a philosophy that resonates with the spirit of endurance sports. Just as athletes are shaped by demanding courses and unforgiving terrain, our wines are forged by the same challenges, resulting in expressive, character-rich wines.

“We’re proud to join forces with Dryland Event Management – a partnership that naturally aligns with the spirit of our Dry Land Collection,” says Niel Groenewald, Head of Sales and Marketing at Perdeberg Wines. “Both brands celebrate endurance, resilience, and a deep connection to the land. Through this partnership, riders and trail runners can look forward to elevated race experiences complemented by the bold, expressive character of our dryland-crafted wines. It’s a celebration of adventure, community, and exceptional craftsmanship – both on the trail and in the bottle.”
As part of the partnership, participants can enjoy tastings of our wines at Dryland events and purchase their favourites on-site. Our wines will also be featured as podium prizes at stage races – offering a toast to achievement at the end of each day.
“Personally, I’m looking forward to hearing stories from the day’s riding and running over a glass or two of the Endura Single Vineyard Chenin Blanc,” shares Henco Rademeyer, of Dryland Event Management. “Perdeberg Wines are leaders in their industry, and I know our participants will greatly appreciate their wines.”
Whether it's our flagship Rex and Endura wines, the acclaimed Dry Land Collection, or our Vineyard, Classic, and Soft Smooth Ranges, we have a wine to suit every taste – from seasoned oenophiles to those just starting their wine journey. Much like progressing from a one-day event like the Prince George Monumental 100-Miler to a multi-day challenge like the Garden Route Giro, there's a Perdeberg wine for every milestone.
