The Zevenwacht winemaking team is hard at work preparing some of our beautifully aged wines for bottling, a moment we always look forward to, as the matured wines carefully come together in the bottle. Alongside these treasures, the very first of the 2025 wines are being bottled, a satisfying blend of seasons and stories in motion.
This time of year also signals the meticulous waxing of our premium and JAN wines, a process as precise as it is personal. The waxing process is both art and ritual; each bottle lowered into the molten wax like a brushstroke sealing a masterpiece. A fitting final touch for some of our most refined expressions of site and variety.

Zevenwacht Merlot 2022
The nose shows plums, cassis and subtle oak spice that opens up to red currant with undertones of fennel. The palate has plush fruit with a firm tannin that will reward aging for optimal enjoyment.
Zevenwacht Syrah 2022
Savoury and complex, the wine shows white pepper and blackberry on the nose that opens to raspberry and floral notes. The savoury spice continues to the palate with a red fruit core and a fine peppery tannin.
Zevenwacht Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
The wine is classic and elegant showing cassis, blackberry and cherry with underlying notes of violets and graphite on the nose. Dark fruits dominate on the palate with a firm, yet well integrated tannin structure and lingering finish.
Zevenwacht Chardonnay 2024
An elegant and complex wine with aromas of tangerine, white pear and subtle oak spice. The palate is complex and focused with lime-citrus and stone fruit that complement a succulent mouthfeel and long finish.
Zevenwacht The Tin Mine White 2023
Complex aromatics of apricot, peach and quince with floral perfume; opens to lime and a subtle creaminess on the palate with well-integrated oak and a mineral finish.
Zevenwacht Sauvignon Blanc 2024
An elegant wine showing gooseberry, passion fruit and nettle on the nose, that opens up to green fig, grapefruit and nectarine. The wine has a mineral quality that is supported by concentrated fruit and juicy acidity that leaves a lingering aftertaste. This is a complex wine that delivers a beautiful expression for our pristine terroir.
