We are proud to have been involved in the rebirth of the dining experiences at Vergenoegd Löw and to have contributed to the farm’s rich history through food and hospitality. Our aim was to build restaurants that resonates with South African and foreign guests.
As our lease is coming to an end, we are moving on to new projects, however, the farm has decided to take over hospitality on their own and will continue with celebrating the history of the farm in their own unique way. We are very grateful for the opportunity they have provided and wish Vergenoegd Löw all the best in the future.
We are all amazed by chef Drikus Brink’s growth as both a leader and a chef. This shows in the fact that Clara’s Barn has won 2 stars in the last Eat Out Restaurant awards and received 2 plates by JPH Gourmet Guide.
We have had a wonderful team that has worked with us and with the support of Vergenoegd Löw, we were able to achieve all these accolades. Some of the current team members will remain on the farm, so please pop in to see some familiar faces.
We wish the new Vergenoegd Löw culinary team all the best with their future endeavours as the new custodians of this special, historic space.
