Boland Cellar
Boland Cellar has underlined its consistency and international appeal with a stellar performance at the Decanter World Wine Awards, which announced the winners of its 2025 competition this week.

The Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the world's largest and most influential wine competitions. This year, over 18,000 wines from 57 countries were evaluated by 248 top international experts, including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine – the most in the competition's history. A medal here can therefore be regarded as a true stamp of international approval.

Boland Cellar's One Formation Grenache 2023 scored 92 points to be awarded a silver medal, while the One Formation Chenin/Sauvignon/Grenache Blanc 2024 picked up 88 points and a bronze medal. The One Formation range embodies Boland Cellar's ethos of collaboration in all aspects from vineyard to bottle and beyond. A skilled winemaking team works closely with grape growers on over 40 farms spanning five climate zones and 2,000 hectares of exquisite terroir to select the most characterful grapes for this premium range.

One Formation is one of the most consistently awarded ranges in Boland Cellar's large portfolio, and the accolades are a nod to the holistic approach employed from grape to bottle. As a winery with producer farms located in ecologically sensitive areas, Boland Cellar takes its custodianship of nature very seriously and has been recognised as a WWF Conservation Champion for its leading sustainable practices promoting biodiversity and conservation.
