Groote Post is proud to announce that their Groote Post Merlot 2022 has been awarded the Investec Trophy for Best Merlot at The Trophy Wine Show 2025, one of the most prestigious and competitive wine competitions in South Africa.
The Trophy Wine Show is judged by a panel of leading South African and international experts and is widely regarded as the benchmark for wine excellence in the country. Winning the Investec Trophy places Groote Post’s Merlot among the finest red wines South Africa has to offer.
To add to the celebration, the estate’s Seasalter Sauvignon Blanc blend also received a coveted Gold Medal, reaffirming its status as a standout in its category.
