Delheim Wine Estate
The hills of the Simonsberg will this winter once again be alive when Live Music Sundays comes to Delheim Wine Estate.

The hills of the Simonsberg will this winter once again be alive with rhythmic sounds and the taste of traditional cheese fondue when Live Music Sundays comes to Delheim Wine Estate. Starting on Sunday 6 July and ending 31 August, each afternoon will see a different live musical performance on the wine estate featuring a diverse array of musicians and styles.

This eclectic programme will range from traditional Bavarian and German music, jazz to contemporary pop covers with a bit of romantic Afrikaans music tossed in for good measure. As per every musical season on Delheim, shows will be accompanied by the Estate’s popular cheese fondue with traditional Gluhwein served on arrival. The lunch also includes an appetiser before the hearty fondue, coffee and dessert. Delheim’s range of award-winning wines will be available for purchase at cellar-door prices. These events begin at 12.00 and continue through to 15h00.

For this year’s fondue experience, Delheim has partnered with award-winning cheese producer Kleinrivier Cheese. Like Delheim, this cheese producer is a family business known for the generational crafting of quality products. Over the past few years, Delheim has used Kleinrivier’s Raclette, Gruberg, and Colby cheeses for its fondue, making Kleinrivier part of the Delheim fondue family. To accentuate this partnership, pre-packed Kleinrivier Fondue cheese kits will be available for purchase on Delheim, allowing patrons to make their own silky, cheesy fondues at home.

Reservations for the Delheim Live Music Sundays and Fondue are necessary. The cost for the music show and meal is R580 per person, and R250 for persons under 12. Bookings via Quicket.
