New vintage releases

We are delighted to introduce the newest vintages from our Estate range:

  • Zevenwacht Estate Chardonnay 2024: Bright, graceful, and full of charm, our Estate Chardonnay glows with notes of sun-ripened citrus, white peach, and a whisper of oak. A gentle creaminess adds depth, while a crisp mineral edge keeps it refreshingly alive. It’s a wine that feels like a conversation in golden afternoon light, vibrant, honest, and full of joy.
  • Zevenwacht Estate Merlot 2022: Soft-spoken but deeply expressive, our Estate Merlot 2022 is a wine of quiet confidence. Silky layers of plum, black cherry, and cocoa unfold slowly, wrapped in fine-grained tannins and a warm, toasty finish. It’s the perfect companion for cool evenings, slow meals, and toasts around the table.

While the vineyards enter their dormant phase, the cellar is alive with focus and finesse. Whites from the 2025 harvest are currently undergoing cold stabilisation in preparation for bottling, while red components are being carefully assessed for final blends before returning to barrel.

This is a technical yet creative phase in the cellar. With the 2024 whites, we're preserving natural freshness while building subtle layers. It's about fine-tuning structure without losing the purity of the vintage. Our reds are being closely monitored, the 2025 vintage shows great concentration and balance.

This transitional period is where the foundation for our next releases is quietly laid, with each barrel and tank attended to with care.
