We are embarking on an exciting chapter at Alto Wine Estate as we prepare to renovate our cellar, tasting room, and restaurant over the next three years.
To facilitate this process, we will be taking a short break until mid-2025. During this time, we will be opening a tasting room and restaurant, Klein Alto, at our sister property, Bontehoek (formerly Bilton) located just down the road from Alto.
Our tastings and offerings will remain unchanged during this transition, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. We are excited to introduce a comforting new winter menu at our restaurant and our popular Sunset Rouge evenings will continue as per usual later in 2025 at our temporary location.

These exciting developments to Alto have been in the works for a few years, and as we eagerly anticipate the re-opening of our estate in 2027, we look forward to welcoming you to Klein Alto later this year.
