The Legacy of the 2015 vintage
Widely regarded as one of the greatest vintages in South African winemaking history, 2015 provided ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. At Waterford Estate, our vineyards gave us wines with a strong structure, elegance, and balance. Recognising the potential of this vintage, our winemaking team carefully selected a small parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon that out performed the rest, opting to use the best barrels for its maturation and nurtured it to the bottle where it has developed for a decade to create the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2015.

The Library Collection celebrates the history and lessons learnt here at Waterford Estate, offering rare and limited releases that highlight our winemaking journey to truly create authentic South African wines. The Library Collection has had many faces and many different labels, but the ethos of learning and passing on lessons learnt has been the consistent line throughout the wines.
To continue this passion for learning we have consolidated the Library Collection under a new label, a label that we feel unifies this story.
