The House of Graham Beck is pleased to announce an exciting development within its team. As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, preparations are underway for a seamless transition that ensures Graham Beck’s continued success in the Cap Classique sparkling wine industry.

A general manager (GM) will be appointed at the estate in Robertson. Pieter Ferreira, COO and founding cellarmaster, will step into a newly established role as brand custodian, marking a significant new chapter in his journey with Graham Beck and their tireless pursuit of the perfect bubble.

This transition period will allow The House of Graham Beck to maintain smooth day-to-day operations across the farm, cellar, and other areas while freeing Pieter to focus on strategic brand growth opportunities. His expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving the brand forward in both local and international markets, including the USA and the UK.

In his new role, Pieter will continue to lead by example, focusing on the following key deliverables:

  • Brand development: Ensuring the Graham Beck brand remains future-ready, leveraging the potential of their Vintage Collection and new product development (NPD) offerings across all markets.
  • Winemaking excellence: Maintaining the highest quality standards through his ongoing involvement in assemblage and providing support during harvest.
  • Mentorship: Guiding the winemaking team and the new GM to uphold their standards of excellence.
  • Hospitality: Hosting esteemed Graham Beck guests on the estate and at consumer events, both locally and abroad.
