On the first day of autumn, Jeanine joined Mulderbosch Vineyards' head winemaker Henry Kotzé and winemaker Morné McGear at the estate for an intimate red wine tasting and the launch of the Mulderbosch Estate Blend 2021 – the first wine in their 35-year history to be estate-certified.

Cork and Conversation at Waterford Estate - Anri
Our new content editor, Anri Steyn, joined Waterford Estate for their Cork and Conversation session in March 2024. The guests went on a tour of the cellar with assistant winemaker Jamie, tasted wine with David van Schalkwyk, explored the vineyards on a Wine Drive Safari The event concluded with amazing platters put together by the SALT team, which guests enjoyed with the Waterford Estate Grenache 2021.
Robertson Wine Valley Terroir Trip - Jeanine
The Robertson Wine Valley invited a group of wine writers, bloggers, and influencers to a terroir trip in Robertson from 11-12 April 2024. Hosted by wine route manager Sibel Consul and chairman Johann de Wet, the trip was an unforgettable immersion into the vineyards, wines, and hospitality of the region. The various wine farms on their itinerary included Rooiberg, De Wetshof, Kranskop, Silverthorn, Weltevrede, and Robertson Winery.
Survivor Tradouw Day - Jeanine
Jeanine was among a group of media guests who were invited by the Survivor Wines team to join them for a day in the Tradouw Valley in the Klein Karoo. They spent the day on the Joubert-Tradouw Farm just outside Barrydale. Here, Survivor Wines cellarmaster Pierre Wahl partnered with his friend Meyer Joubert of Joubert-Tradouw to establish Survivor's vineyard holdings on the farm.
