Full steam ahead on the estate
Although the days are becoming cooler and shorter as we are slowly welcoming winter, this does not deter the Jordan Wine Estate farm team from making the most of each day.
The team is hard at work preparing the soils for planting new vines in the upcoming months. They have prepared 12 hectares for Assyrtiko, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc on different parts of the estate.
Gary Jordan’s goal is to renew and rejuvenate the vineyards to ensure that they are healthy and can cope with the stresses of climate change over future vintages.

New vintage: Sophia 2018
Stock up your cellar for winter with the latest vintage of the iconic Jordan Sophia! Sophia, meaning wisdom in Greek, is presented with an owl on her shoulder, symbolising wisdom. In her right hand she holds a laurel wreath, the symbol of peace and success. Her three daughters, the Saints Faith, Hope and Charity or Love – Pistis, Elpis and Agape – are symbolised by the sun, moon and earth.
