Vergenoegd Löw
Vergenoegd Löw’s famous Indian Runner ducks have now relocated to the vineyards on the farm.

Vergenoegd Löw’s famous Indian Runner ducks are still here, a key part of our integrated, sustainable farming. They are busy in the vineyards. They eat snails and insects so that we do not have to use harmful pesticides.

They wander across the Homestead grounds daily at 09h00 and 12h00. Or you might catch sight of them as they make their way past the Manor House on their way to the vineyards or coming for a swim before heading back home.

The best way to see them is to book breakfast or lunch at Geuwels Restaurant, lunch at Clara’s Barn, or a wine tasting. We have hundreds of these ducks. They protect our vineyards. We provide ducklings to other wine farms who want to follow our example of sustainable farming.

To ensure the safety and well-being of these hardworking ducks, we kindly request that pets not be brought onto the premises.
