New look, new name. Same great Pinotage.
Introducing our Pick of the Bunch Pinotage 2020, the first of our Cultivar Collection to get a brand new look (and a new name to go with it)! Not to mention, Pinotage was also the first red wine released by the estate in 1970.
When this characterful cultivar hit a rough patch in the 80s and 90s, our winemaking team still believed in the power of Pinotage and now, more than 50 years later, Johan Malan often jokes that we did not pick Pinotage but Pinotage picked us
Pick of the Bunch is delicious fruit-forward Pinotage that pairs wonderfully with hearty pasta, tomato bredie (stew) - or a lekker South African braai.

Savour rare vintage gems at our annual vintage day on Saturday, 29 July
Calling all wine connoisseurs and wine lovers alike!
Engage with our winemakers and discover the intriguing world of vintage wines at a once-in-a-lifetime walkaround tasting this Vintage Day where more than 30 of Simonsig's most distinguished vintage wines, ranging from 1999 to 2019, will be on display.
Tickets range from R395 to R595 per person, with all tickets including all wine tastings, as well as a crystal wine glass to take home. Doors (and bottles) open at 11h00 and a select number of food options will also be available for purchase on the day.
